July: Kotegaeshinage
Reverse Wrist or Reverse Hand Throw

This technique unbalances uke’s entire body by turning uke’s wrist outward.
This technique can be applied from either a standing or kneeling position, and in response to many different attacks such as front strike, side strike, punching, or grabbing...etc.

Main points to study

1 Do not pull uke’s hand to the side by turning your hips when performing the throw.
2 Do not pull up on uke’s hand when you throw.
