February: Yonkajo waza
fourth control techniques
This technique uses the base of the index finger to apply
pressure to ukes inner
wrist area (nerve line) to bring uke off-balance. This technique can be applied
from either a standing or kneeling position, and in response to many different
attacks such as front strike, side strike, punching, or grabbing...etc.

Do not use hand strength to apply this technique. |

In order to make the control secure, grasp ukes wrist more
with your little finger, and make sure ukes elbow stays bent. |
