Santa Fe Doshinkan Aikido
Brian Cole, student of Utada Kancho, is offering
Doshinkan Aikido classes at the Kazoku Karate Family Martial Arts
Center in Santa
Fe, NM. The style and testing material is exactly what is practiced at the Doshinkan Honbu Dojo.
Brian Cole assisted Utada Kancho in teaching the accredited Aikido
class at Temple
University for nine semesters whilst living at the Doshinkan Honbu
Dojo. He currently holds the rank of San-dan (3rd Degree) from the Aikido
Association of North America.

Utada Kancho Seminar - August 24-26th, 2012

Utada Kancho will return to the Albuquerque and Santa Fe area for his annual seminar this August. A high quality flyer can be downloaded by clicking the image to the right. Utada Sensei will be teaching in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe on different days to maximize the chances for people to train with this unique teacher. The schedule will be as follows:

Utada Kancho Seminar - November 11-13th, 2011
Utada Kancho gave a three day seminar in New Mexico in November of 2011. Special thanks to Sensei Sol Serna at Kazoku Karate - Family Martial Arts Center, Sensei Bodie Littlejohn at High Desert Aikido, and Sensei Jerome Buenviaje at Aikido of Northern New Mexico for supporting Kancho's visit by giving us a place to train.
Many thanks to Sensei Ray Perales for taking many of the pictures seen below. And a shout out to Albuquerque Shin-Budo Kai and Aikido of Central New Mexico, thank you for attending. It is truely gratifying to see so many different branches of Aikido come together to train. I look forward to training with you all again.
Santa Fe Shin Boku Kai (Friendship Event) - August 7th, 2011
Aikido of Northern New Mexico hosted a frienship event between their school, ours, and Sensei Bodie from High Desert Aikido. It was a great experience and we look forward to more of these events.
